Our leadership acknowledges that our members constitute our most valuable resource. To fortify local roots in every state, we seek individuals interested in enhancing the involvement of local wedding professionals within ABC.
You're being invited to apply to participate in this special project. The special project would consist of either overseeing a Local Networking Group. Our objective is to cultivate your region and appoint an active State Director to each State.
What would you do?
Communicate with members and non-members about upcoming events. This may include emailing potential members, calling past members about renewing, etc.
Coordinate at least four gatherings this year. (Examples: face-to-face local meetings, conference calls, venue tours, or other forums that provide an environment for education and/or networking.)
Act as a point of contact for local member questions, concerns, and issues.
Follow guidelines and policies as directed by the Director of Members at Large.
Manage overall activities without a financial loss. Provide a report of activities, as requested.
If you choose to oversee a local LNG, for your assistance you will receive:
1 educational point towards membership upgrade for personally sponsoring a new ABC member (limit total of 10 points.)
Once the membership in your state reaches 30 total members, you can become a Chapter President.
Applications will be accepted on going until all positions are filled.
Once your application is approved, a meeting will be set up with your the Vice President of Member Engagement to set goals for membership and to discuss networking opportunities for your state. We want you to succeed in this opportunity so we will arm you with all the assistance that you need to be successful.
You will have the full support of the ABC Leadership Team.

Manage state and regional meetings, conference calls and webinars to promote education and enhance networking in their areas. They manage state social media, including frequent Facebook page and group posts to share news and activities that highlight membership benefits. They act as a point of contact for questions, concerns and issues by members and are a major contact for non-members who are interested in learning about our members and ABC membership. They lead with ethics, fairness and hard work to bridge national and local efforts.

The Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) is seeking an experienced Certified Wedding Educator to serve as the Certified Wedding Educator Program Lead. This volunteer leadership role provides strategic oversight, educator support, and program advocacy to ensure excellence and consistency across ABC’s educator community.
This position is ideal for a seasoned educator who is passionate about mentorship, professional standards, and the future of wedding industry education.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Serving as the primary liaison for Certified Wedding Educators
Supporting educator onboarding and ongoing engagement
Providing program feedback and recommendations to ABC leadership
Representing the educator program at select ABC events
This is a term-based, volunteer leadership role with national visibility, professional recognition, and meaningful influence over the future of wedding education.
