ABC Wedding Immersion is a new, intentionally intimate professional development experience created by the Association of Bridal Consultants. Rather than a traditional conference filled with back-to-back presentations, Immersion is designed around interactive education, candid conversations, workshops, roundtables, connection and shared experiences.

The inaugural Wedding Immersion will bring together just 56 wedding industry professionals and ABC leaders at Conrad Orlando, October 31–November 2, 2027.

No. Wedding Immersion represents the next evolution of ABC's signature annual gathering. We are taking what our members have loved about World of Weddings—education, relationships, professional growth and celebration—and creating a smaller, more interactive experience where attendees have greater opportunities to participate, connect and learn from one another.

World of Weddings and the Immersion event will both take place every other year.

That's intentional. Wedding Immersion was designed to create the kinds of conversations and connections that are difficult to achieve in a large conference environment.

With only 56 participants, we can create smaller workshops, meaningful roundtables, greater access to facilitators and ABC leaders, and opportunities for attendees to truly get to know one another.

Your Wedding Immersion package includes your two-night stay at Conrad Orlando for October 31 and November 1, hotel taxes and resort fee, scheduled Immersion education and experiences, the Sunday Welcome Experience, Conversation Pit and Master Panel, Monday workshops, panels and roundtables, designated meals and refreshments, the Trendsetter Awards Dinner, Tuesday Closing Breakfast, and other attendee experiences included in the official program.

We wanted to create one experience rather than asking attendees to purchase conference registration and then arrange their hotel separately.

Yes. Your two-night stay at Conrad Orlando is included in your Wedding Immersion registration package. You will not need to make a separate hotel reservation for the two official Immersion nights.

ABC will coordinate the rooming list directly with Conrad Orlando.

A Private Room Experience includes your own Conrad Orlando guestroom for both nights.

A Shared Room Experience includes accommodations with another registered Wedding Immersion attendee. Shared rooms are based on two registered attendees per room, and ABC will assign roommates.

You may request another registered attendee as your roommate during registration. We will make every effort to honor roommate requests, but they cannot be guaranteed.

Private rooms are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If an assigned roommate cancels, ABC may assign another shared-room attendee to the room or make other accommodation arrangements. You will not automatically be required to pay the private-room rate because of another attendee's cancellation.

A spouse or guest may be able to accompany you depending on your selected room type and hotel occupancy requirements. However, an accompanying guest is not registered for Wedding Immersion and may not participate in Immersion education, meals, activities or other official functions unless a separate guest ticket or experience has been purchased.

We will provide additional guest accommodation information during registration.

Yes. A limited number of Trendsetter Awards Guest Tickets will be available for guests who are not registered for the full Wedding Immersion experience.

The current planned guest ticket price is $225 per person. Availability may be limited.

No. Attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own airfare or other transportation to Orlando, as well as transportation between the airport and Conrad Orlando.

Designated meals and refreshments that are part of the official Wedding Immersion program will be included in registration. This will include the Trendsetter Awards Dinner on Monday evening and Closing Breakfast on Tuesday morning, along with additional scheduled food and beverage experiences.

Your registration does not include airfare or transportation to Orlando, airport transfers, parking or valet fees, personal incidental charges, additional hotel nights, meals and beverages outside the official Immersion program, or optional experiences unless specifically identified as included.

We will clearly identify what is and is not included before you complete registration.

Potentially. Our current hotel agreement allows the ABC group rate to be offered for up to three days before and three days after the official event dates, based on room type and rate availability.

Extension nights are not included in your Wedding Immersion registration package and would be at the attendee's expense.

Because Wedding Immersion includes hotel accommodations and ABC must make contractual commitments on behalf of each attendee, cancellations will be subject to the Wedding Immersion cancellation and refund policy.

The final attendee cancellation schedule will be provided before registration opens, and attendees will be required to acknowledge it during registration.

Yes. We plan to offer both a Pay in Full option and an installment payment option to make attending Wedding Immersion more manageable.

Payment-plan participants will authorize their scheduled installments to be automatically charged to the payment method provided at registration. The complete payment schedule and terms will be displayed before registration is finalized.

Wedding Immersion is designed to be professional, comfortable and experiential. Attire recommendations will vary by activity, and registered attendees will receive a complete Immersion Know Before You Go Guide before the event.

We'll also announce the attire and theme for the 2027 Trendsetter Awards Dinner separately—so save a little room in your suitcase for something special.

Throughout the year! Part of the Wedding Immersion experience will be the journey leading up to Orlando.

Rather than announcing everything at once, we'll reveal facilitators, workshops, conversations and special experiences as they are confirmed. Registered attendees will be among the first to receive those announcements.

We're exploring an optional post-Immersion experience on Wednesday, November 3, which may include an opportunity to tour Disney's Wedding Pavilion and experience Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings from an industry perspective.

This experience is not currently included in the core Wedding Immersion registration package and is not yet confirmed. Details regarding availability, transportation and any additional cost will be announced if the experience is finalized.

The smaller format allows us to trade crowded ballrooms and passive learning for meaningful conversations, interactive education, greater access, deeper relationships and experiences that extend beyond the meeting room.

Wedding Immersion has been intentionally designed as a complete experience, and the two-night Conrad Orlando stay is included in every registration package. We are not offering a conference-only registration option. Keeping our attendees together at the host resort is part of creating the connection and community that makes Immersion different.
