Join ABC at the Plan It Expo Poolside Wedding Experience

The Association of Bridal Consultants is excited to introduce a new opportunity for our members as part of our partnership with Plan It Expo and WSPI.

This September, ABC will participate in the Poolside Wedding Experience at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, featuring the launch of Plan It Expo’s new Destination Romance & Travel Pavilion.

We are looking for a select group of ABC professionals to join us as our first:

ABC DESTINATION ROMANCE AMBASSADORS

This opportunity is designed for ABC members who want to increase their visibility, connect with engaged couples, build industry relationships, and represent ABC as trusted wedding and destination professionals.

We are especially interested in members involved in:

• Wedding planning

• Destination weddings

• Honeymoons

• Romance travel

• Travel advising

• Luxury weddings

• Wedding design

• Multicultural weddings

• Hospitality and destination services

What Will Ambassadors Do?

Selected ambassadors may be invited to:

• Promote the Harrah’s event to clients, prospects, and followers

• Share ABC and Plan It Expo promotional content

• Create short wedding or destination advice videos

• Invite engaged couples to attend

• Participate in the ABC consumer experience at the event

• Meet resorts, destinations, travel suppliers, and wedding vendors

• Represent ABC throughout the Destination Romance & Travel Pavilion

• Help introduce potential destination and travel partners to the Pavilion

Opportunities for Participating Members

Depending on the final event schedule, selected ABC professionals may have opportunities to participate in:

ASK THE ABC EXPERTS - A live consumer panel where ABC professionals will answer questions from engaged couples about wedding planning, destination weddings, honeymoons, travel, budgets, vendors, logistics, and more.

MEET THE ABC EXPERTS - Following the panel, couples will have an opportunity to connect directly with participating ABC professionals.

ABC WEDDING PLANNING & DESTINATION ADVICE LOUNGE - Selected members may provide short complimentary consultations to attending couples and receive opportunities to generate qualified leads.

DESTINATION ROMANCE NETWORKING - Participating ABC professionals may also have the opportunity to meet participating resorts, destinations, travel companies, hospitality partners, and wedding vendors.

This pilot program is being created to provide participating ABC members with opportunities for:

• Travel Business Opportunities - For ABC members involved in travel, develop relationships that could potentially lead to destination wedding and honeymoon business.

• Future Opportunities - Members participating in the Harrah’s pilot may receive consideration for future Destination Romance & Travel Pavilion activations as the program expands into additional markets.
