ABC Sandals Barbados FAM

Oh my! Where do I start! First off Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados are of course beautiful and top notch resorts. The food is fantastic, the entertainment is out of this world and the staff… PERFECT!

But let me tell you about two other things: The Education and The Camaraderie.

The Education

Unfortunately for us Wendy White was not able to attend our FAM but we had the honor and pleasure of being trained by Susan Managan and the onsite Wedding Manager, Pat! Susan usually handles all of the back end type of things for ABC with Sandals and Wendy handles all of the sales training. The training with Susan was really invaluable as there was a lot of information that we hadn’t learned before that will be invaluable for our future business. We did a full tour in the buring hot sun for 3 hours but learned a lot about not just the options for Barbados but how things are done at other resorts for Sandals also.

We had a great panel discussion with 3 of our own ABC members and lots of questions and answers from all members and Sandals staff! Many notes were taken photos taken and future plans are still being made.

We also had some great pool side discussions!

The Comaraderie

The 14 ABC members on this trip were just wonderful people! Sharing information freely among one another, sharing business and life experiences and just being to overall create even more friendships has been priceless for all of us. It is always a goal for me to share and be an open book to those around me to increase them while increasing myself and it truly felt that everyone on the trip felt the same way.

Yes, there were tons of flight issues and delays and we were all sad to leave but happy to get home. It was a trip that we’ll not soon forget. I’ve added some photos above for you to view of your fellow members learning, relaxing, having some fun but overall getting a huge jump on their businesses.
