Emerging Member of the Year Award
The ABC Emerging Member of the Year award honors a relatively new member who has demonstrated exceptional involvement in the wedding industry through their participation in ABC, local chapter activities, and contributions to the industry and their community. This award recognizes a member whose commitment to their profession and the ABC network and has made a lasting and significant impact in the past year. Nominees must have been an active member of ABC for at least one year but no more than five consecutive years.

Provide an overview of the nominee’s achievements and contributions to the wedding industry in the past year, including their involvement with ABC. Address the following questions in your submission:

How many years of consecutive membership does the nominee have? (Must be between 1 and 5 years. Membership duration will be verified by ABC staff.)
What is the nominee’s career involvement and experience in the wedding industry this year? Please include specific accomplishments, positions held, and areas of focus.
Describe the nominee’s participation, contributions, and involvement with ABC this year. Highlight any roles, event participation, volunteer efforts, and contributions to ABC's mission.
How has the nominee impacted their local ABC chapter or ABC as a whole this year? Provide specific examples of their influence within the community, from organizing events to creating networking opportunities or educational initiatives.

Who Should Apply:
Newer Members (1-5 years): Ideal candidates for this award are ABC members who have been part of the organization for a relatively short period (1-5 years) but have already demonstrated significant involvement and contribution.
Active Volunteers or Chapter Leaders: Members who have taken on leadership roles in local chapters or helped organize ABC events and initiatives, such as educational workshops or networking events.
Rising Professionals: Those who have shown exceptional growth, innovation, or passion in their early years in the industry, showcasing their potential to be future leaders of ABC.
Example: A wedding planner who joined ABC recently and has already organized a successful local event or initiated a valuable educational project for their chapter.
