The ABC Advisory Council is an invitation-only group of distinguished leaders who have shaped the Association of Bridal Consultants and the global wedding industry. This prestigious council provides strategic insight, historical context, and mentorship to support ABC’s mission and long-term vision.

What the Advisory Council Does

  • Advises the ABC President and national leadership team

  • Offers legacy knowledge and historical perspective

  • Supports strategic planning and growth initiatives

  • Mentors rising leaders and strengthens leadership development

  • Participates in select World of Weddings sessions and organizational projects

Composition

The council includes former ABC Presidents, long-standing Master Wedding Planners, and industry visionaries. One permanent seat is reserved for the Past President Emeritus, honoring exceptional leadership and lifelong service.

Service Term

Members are invited by the ABC President to serve a two-year renewable term.
