  • RESOURCES & MEMBER SUPPORT COMMITTEE

    This committee will focus on expanding ABC’s library of industry tools, templates, and resources to support members. Volunteers will help gather useful materials, such as sample contracts, client planning documents, and business growth strategies. The committee will meet once in each quarter via Zoom.

    Duties:
    Collect and organize wedding planning templates, contracts, and business resources.

    Source materials from members, vendors, and educational partners.

    Assist in updating the ABC Member Resource Center with fresh content.

    Provide feedback on member-exclusive tools and benefits.

  • DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION (DEI) COMMITTEE

    This committee will work to ensure ABC remains an inclusive and welcoming organization for all wedding professionals, regardless of background, identity, or business model. The committee will meet once each quarter via Zoom.

    Duties:

    Promote diversity in ABC’s leadership, speakers, and educators.

    Help develop resources and training on inclusive wedding planning.

    Identify opportunities to support underrepresented wedding professionals.

    Encourage vendor and venue partnerships that align with DEI values.

    Provide recommendations on inclusive language and marketing in ABC materials.

  • EDUCATION COUNCIL

    This council will focus on ABC’s Education and other educational programs. Members will review course content, suggest new lesson topics, and provide feedback on industry certifications and continuing education opportunities. 

    Duties:

    Review and suggest updates for ABC’s certification courses.

    Assist in identifying gaps in wedding education and proposing new lesson topics.

    Help develop webinar and workshop topics for ABC members.

    Offer feedback on the Educational Programs and instructor resources.
