Quick time saver tips

If there is one thing that we all receive the same of its time. Some people just spend their time differently and are more effective, and then you have those (like me!) that have days where you just don’t want to do anything all and the time just slips away… So here are some 3 quick tips on how to make your day more productive.

Make A Power Hour

For one hour out of each day complete all of the little daily tasks that you have to do like checking emails (only replying if time permits), posting to social media, check your to do lists and get ready for when the real work begins. By doing all of this little stuff at once it will allow you to spend the remainder of your day focused on the tasks at hand.

Make Notes

When you feel like you will be distracted from your current tasks keep a notebook next to you and write down your thoughts rather than go off your current task. For example checking email can get distracting, so instead close the email and make a note in your notebook about your thoughts on that email. Same with social media if you see a post you want to click on - DON’T just write it down and then move on.

Planning Routine

If you don’t already have a planning routine then create one. Take a day or two and put a plan together start with the larger picture a Monthly planning routine then break it down weekly and then daily. Then you would just need to stick to it.

Hopefully these tips will help with organizing your day. Just one more quick note: Google “Time Blocking”. It helps!!

Happy Planning!
